An ancestral legacy, it is a textile art sewn by hand with threads and fabrics. In ancient times the Gunadule woman painted her skin with fruits of the earth, our molas are masterpieces created by Guna women, molas are more than art, they are a cry of resistance, a form of communication. By purchasing a mola, you are supporting the indigenous communities of Abya Yala and promoting fair trade and solidarity economy.

In the spirit of Reconciliation, Trinity-Grace United Church acknowledges that we live, work, play and worship on the unceded and traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples – xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) nations.
