Reception of New Members - Easter Sunday, April 5th
Are you interested in becoming a member of Trinity-Grace? Membership offers the opportunity to make a public commitment to our community of faith, and opens up deeper opportunities to participate in congregational leadership and decision-making. If you’re interested in knowing more about what’s involved in becoming a member, please contact Rev. Sandra at rev@tgucvan.com. We’ll be receiving new members at our Easter Sunday service on April 5th, but there will also be other opportunities to join.

All members and participants in our congregation are welcome to attend TGUC’s upcoming AGM. Come hear about the ways Trinity-Grace lived out it’s vision and mission in 2025, and how you can become part of that vision for 2026!
SUNDAY SERVICE
FOR YOUR ATTENTION & ACTION
TGUC’s Pledge as an Apartheid Free Community includes “… to join others in working to end all support to Israel’s Apartheid regime, settler colonialism, and military occupation”
One way to do this is to support Boycott and Divestment Actions, part of BDS.
During Lent, we will provide examples of both successful and on-going BDS campaigns. This week:
Ongoing - Sodastream
According to the Palestinian BDS National Committee, SodaStream is an Israeli company that is actively complicit in Israel's policy of displacing the indigenous Bedouin-Palestinian citizens of present-day Israel in the Naqab (Negev) and has a long history of racial discrimination against Palestinian workers. Learn More
The BDS movement understands that the Israeli regime of settler-colonialism, apartheid and military occupation against Palestinians derives its strength primarily from the complicity and support of governments, corporations and institutions.
BDS Logic: BDS compels large complicit companies, through strategic and context-sensitive boycott and divestment campaigns to end their complicity in Israeli apartheid and war crimes against Palestinians. BDS sends a compelling message to hundreds of other complicit companies that “your time will come, so get out before it’s too late!”
Ongoing - Indigo Books & Music
According to Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East, “Indigo Books & Music Inc. is the largest Canadian book retail chain. Founder and CEO Heather Reisman co-founded the HESEG Foundation for Lone Soldiers, which encourages foreigners to join the Israeli army and continue their studies in Israel.” Learn More
