NEWS

This past Tuesday, a group of us gathered both online and at Trinity-Grace to listen to Dr. Lorna Wanosts’a7 Williams, Dr. John Price, and Jodi Spargur share their wisdom and teachings about DRIPA and the future of right relations.

It was a profound event, and if you missed it, you can watch the recorded livestream here.

We were invited to think honestly about our histories and how they fashion the ways we now see our world, especially the ways that they shape our approach to reconciliation

I was inspired to explore more about how we “learn another language” so that we can see our world differently. How do we listen to the language of this land, how it speaks? And how can we have our own worldview re-shaped by First Nations people who embody the language of the land and a totally different way of seeing?

Together on the journey,
Anita
