Joelle Lush is a Vancouver-based song stylist originally from Newfoundland, whose warm, soulful voice bridges the worlds of jazz, gospel, soul, and R&B. With deep roots in church singing and a background in jazz, Joelle brings both technical depth and heartfelt emotion to every performance.
Drawing inspiration from icons like Sarah Vaughan, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, she blends timeless vocal influences with her own distinct style. Her music is rich with passion, love, and a deep desire to connect — offering listeners not just songs, but moments of joy, healing, and belonging.
Whether interpreting a jazz standard or delivering a soul-stirring ballad, Joelle Lush has a gift for making her audience feel at home. Her performances invite you in, hold space for emotion, and remind us of the power of music to move, uplift, and unite.
She is delighted to be playing with a wonderful trio of musician friends on board: Michael Creber on piano, Conrad Good on bass and Buff Allen on drums.
